Fresh IPA, a rolling, ever-changing, monthly series of one-offs, brewed in small batches and available only from our brewery outlets and only while stocks last. Each batch is an opportunity to try a new brewery fresh IPA, unfiltered and unfined, showcasing a unique combination of yeast, malt and hops. Just fun, fresh hoppy beer at its best. It’s the first FRESH of winter, a glowing glass of hazy fruit laced sunshine to remind you of sunnier days. It’s a simple base - just Pilsner malt, some golden naked oats and chit (a specially malted German malt that lends body and dense foam). The hops are Simcoe and Mosaic in the boil and a suitably lavish dry hop of Motueka, Mosaic and Talus (the new US variety you might remember from our special Hazy Daze edition). The result glows a radiant mango orange in the glass, with an aroma that is packed with bold sherbert, fruit nectar, sweet mango, passionfruit and pine. Take a sip and the Talus really comes through with a citrus tryst of pink grapefruit, tangelo and a touch of seville orange on top of a smooth body and gentle bitterness. Just what you need to bring a little light to the darkest days.
