It’s March, summer’s drawing slowly to an end, but there’s loads of sunshine left to enjoy. And there’s FRESH MAR. Golden Promise (traditionally a Scottish grown malting barley) and plump rolled porridge oats create a pale ‘white gold’ haze, with a full balanced mouthfeel and a clean, mellow sweetness.
That’s where the Scottish connection ends as things take a distinctly tropical turn. On the hot side there’s a touch of Mosaic and Ekuanot, and then a huge dry hop charge of Mosaic, Motueka and Sabro creating a huge vibrant, effusive aroma of grapefruit, coconut and fruit candy followed up with a luscious tropical juice, Piña Colada palate - like a little bit of sunshine in a glass. Easy drinking for those lush last days of summer.
